“Pracownia” is the tenth project of the collection “XII”, designed entirely by the polish designer Karina Wiciak.
The restaurant is called “Pracownia” (which in Polish means “workshop”), because it was designed as a light pastiche of a painter’s studio. Τhe entire interior has been splashed with paint, from the floor throughout the furniture and to the ceiling, which gives it a characteristic feel.
About the collection “XII”- The collection “XII” consists of 12 individually named thematic interiors, designed along with their furniture and fittings. Each project is created over one month, thus the entire collection will take one year to create. These are not interiors made to order, but designs based on the author’s fantasy and his various fascinations.
The author’s goal was to create non-standard places, full of symbols and metaphors, that are on the borderline between architecture and scenography.
