Urban identity

Worship.Coffee is an emerging chain of coffee shops designed as elegant “places of worship,” featuring a retro urban style. With its unique atmosphere, the coffee chain is quickly gaining popularity among a discerning clientele.

Design Strategy

The brand was conceived with franchise development as its core focus, requiring flexible elements that could be adapted to different square footage and layouts. At the same time, these elements needed to maintain a strong visual identity with a distinctive aesthetic that fosters an immediate sense of familiarity. To achieve this, the design aimed to create a welcoming meeting space with a distinctly urban vibe, accomplished through the thoughtful selection of natural materials. These materials were chosen for their flexibility while still possessing a strong, recognizable character.

Materials & Furniture

Dark retro-toned wood, copper, marble, and terrazzo, complemented by a corporate royal blue, “dress” the spaces, creating an inviting atmosphere from the moment a customer steps inside. The warm wood paneling, brown leather sofas, and the ’70s-style fixtures evoke the feeling of a modern living room. Inspiration from the ’60s and ’70s is also evident in the geometric design, seen in the striped rattan wood paneling and the layout of the sofas. This linear design extends into the counters and snack displays, enhancing the flow of both customer and employee traffic.

Graphic Elements

The custom illustrations -murals that subtly depict imaginary scenes from the coffee’s countries of origin- contrast with the bold geometry and dark tones, adding a playful touch to the overall atmosphere.
