Eltrak Group has inaugurated a new store in Perama, strengthening its presence in one of the most active centres of Greece’s maritime and ship-repair industry. Located at 393 Leoforos Dimokratias, the new facility brings the Group’s products, specialist personnel and technical services closer to the companies and workshops operating across the wider ship-repair zone.

The opening reflects Eltrak’s strategy of establishing a direct physical presence where the daily maintenance, repair and technical requirements of the maritime sector are concentrated. Through the new location, the Group provides local access to products and services associated with Caterpillar, Palfinger and MaK.

The inauguration was attended by Eltrak clients, representatives of the shipping sector and senior executives from the international companies represented by the Group, who travelled to Greece for the occasion.

 

 

A strategic presence in the ship-repair zone

Perama plays a central role in the repair and technical support of vessels operating in Greece and the wider region. The new Eltrak facility has been developed in response to the increasing demand for immediate access to specialist personnel, equipment, spare parts and technical assistance.

The location brings the company’s support infrastructure closer to technical departments and repair crews, reducing the distance between the point of service and the maritime activities it supports.

The facility forms part of a broader network through which Eltrak provides engines and generators, lifting systems, cranes, genuine spare parts and specialist technical assistance. For maritime applications, the Group’s portfolio includes Cat engines and generators, MaK service and Palfinger lifting equipment.

Direct contact and technical support

Commenting on the new opening, Natasha Covas-Kneiss, CEO of Eltrak Group, highlighted the importance of establishing a permanent presence in Perama:

Founded in 1982, Eltrak is the official Caterpillar representative in Greece and also represents international brands including Palfinger and MaK. Its activities extend across construction, maritime operations, energy, recycling, transport and logistics.

The new Perama store places this technical and commercial network directly within the working environment of the ship-repair zone. More than a new retail point, the facility is intended to function as a local interface between the Group’s technical capabilities and the day-to-day operational requirements of the maritime sector.

For Eltrak, the investment signals a move closer to its customers. For the wider Perama maritime ecosystem, it adds a new point of direct access to equipment, spare parts and specialist technical support.
