Given the fact that it was located on the edge of the city of Ioannina, the famous rotisserie took his name by that (edge of the city), back in 1982, when it opened its doors. By its renovation, 35 years later, the basic principles of minimalism were used with attention to details, transforming it into a high aesthetic place, maintaining its unalterable nature. The architectural design is highlighted by the choice of the materials; the walls are painted in natural colours, endowing the old glamour, while coverings are made with a white matte tile. The copper-coloured lights constitute a dominant feature of the area; along with some of the furniture, they are designed based on the needs and the aesthetic of the place, as part of the whole design. All the new features are emphasized with the use of proper lightning, which completes the new dynamic of the place.
