The architects wished to compose a building that is recognisable, without gimmicks, with a form deriving from the translation of its function on the façade, from the emergence of the construction system, and the structure of the architectural elements of which it is comprised.
Ultimately, the main aim was to apply to this day the principles of the modern movement, which also govern timeless and good architecture.
Crucial to the proposal was the proximity to the renowned building by G. Kontoleon, a 30s apartment block that marked Greek architecture, on the intersection of Vas. Sofias Avenue and Lampsakou Street.
All the materials used are left in their natural hues, differentiated by their texture alone. The sole coloured element is the red front entrance gate, linking the street to the courtyard and the building.
