Colourful poles
The project establishes a L’Oréal training center, featuring courses and seminars, within an existing company building. Positioned amidst offices, the training center shapes the building’s outward identity. This transformation turns the space into a dynamic tool for showcasing the brand and its products to the professional community.
Spatial Organization
A core principle in organizing the floor plan was enabling parallel activities. The design aim for the different halls was to make them operative both individually as well as together to support diverse functions. To achieve this, the layout incorporated fluid boundaries, preserving continuity while adding flexible partitions. Each space was designed to align closely with its intended function, fostering connections between knowledge transmitters, direct participants, and remote observers.
Exterior Shell
The building itself serves as a backdrop -a luminous container enabling the activities within. It provides a bright, inspiring environment for knowledge. The training center features classrooms and seminar rooms equipped for both theoretical and practical learning. A meeting room, visually connected to the reception area through glass partitions, maintains openness while defining space. At the rear of a longitudinal zone, an open-plan presentation room is set apart from the rest of the center by a flexible solid wall. Additionally, an internal atrium, linking the rooms through strategic openings, introduces natural light and incorporates a subtle touch of greenery, enhancing the atmosphere.
Company Brand
The color palette, defined by a minimalist aesthetic, centers on a dynamic interplay of white and black. The bright white surfaces of the walls and floors contrast with the deep black tones of the furniture and frames, creating a striking and harmonious tension that enhances the overall composition. In the entrance area, a bold black feature with modern lines emphasizes the juxtaposition of light and dark elements.
The design process aimed to not only complement but also highlight the diverse qualities of the commercial spaces. Functionality, balanced proportions, carefully selected materials, and cohesive aesthetics all come together to reflect the company’s identity.
