This residence’s plot of land is located just outside the village of Kokkoni in the precinct of Korinthia and is part of an endless orangery.
The building was placed in the centre of the plot so that the orange trees are visible from everywhere. The residence comprises two main volumes, united in the centre by a glass atrium that holds the dining room, which can be extended to the outside in the summer. The one – storey section contains the bedrooms and the kitchen (in a row); each room has direct access to the outside. The second volume has a high – ceilinged living room on the ground floor and an autonomous guest observatory / room on the first floor with a view of the sea, which although close is not visible from the ground level. The whole house is tinted with plaster, in the color of the surrounding earth. The final positioning of almost every opening of the residence was decided on site, in order to maximise the views toward either the orange trees or the sea.
