Talos is a unique piece of furniture, a table exclusively created with a single block of solid wood from the trunk of a chestnut tree. The grandeur of this large mass is emphasized through the graceful combination of an asymmetrical metal understructure of triangular legs. It is an exceptional composition of contrasting opposites: the natural shape of the tree trunk and the clarity of the iron base.
Talos was designed in order to proclaim nature’s perfect artistry, enhancing its beauty through human intervention. The wood is finished in natural eco-oil, while the metal base is painted in a simple mat black paint.
According to the philosophy of its designer-maker, handmade furniture is all about finding the right balance between the perfection of the material’s organic nature and the imperfection of human touch.
The handmade table, which can be shipped to Europe free of charge, comes in dimensions 342 x 90 x 78cm and weighs 250Kg.
