The 20th issue of the annual bilingual publication Apartments presents fifteen interiors of luxury apartments in world metropolises, such as Barcelona, São Paulo and Athens.
The pages of Apartments 2026 bring together a series of projects that re-examine the contemporary apartment as a flexible, atmospheric living environment rather than a fixed typology. Across different geographies and scales, a clear focus on spatial continuity and careful mediation between everyday life and the environment is common. Open floor plans, filtered light and a strong dialogue with views, greenery or the urban fabric emerge as shared themes, revealing apartments designed for evolving patterns of everyday living. In an exclusive interview, Belgian designers Muller Van Severen explain how their background in photography and sculpture shapes their approach to objects, through a deep understanding of geometry and material properties.
Apartments is an annual international edition of ek magazine and is available in the following countries: Greece, Cyprus, Australia, Germany, Italy, Korea, Spain, United Arab Emirates (Dubai, Abu Dhabi), Qatar, United Kingdom, USA.
