Gratalum participates in the realization of The Ilisian, the new multifaceted destination being developed at the former Hilton Athens. The company has undertaken the fabrication and installation of aluminium systems across the project, addressing the requirements of a development of international scale and increased technical complexity.
The scope extends from the main tower to the lobby and common areas. Different aluminium systems are applied according to the function and construction requirements of each zone, with the aim of maintaining quality, functionality and visual consistency throughout the project.

Aluminium systems for the tower
In the tower, Exalco Space Replace minimal systems are used for the sliding frames, while Elvial W67BS systems are applied to the hinged openings.
The selection responds to the different types of openings required across the building and forms part of the wider package of aluminium applications undertaken by Gratalum.

Lobby and common areas
In the lobby and common areas, the project incorporates Exalco Albio 130 curtain-wall systems, Albio 135 door systems and Albio 127C Superthermo frames.
The company’s scope also includes Alufire fire-resistant systems, extending the aluminium package to areas with different functional and technical requirements.
Through the fabrication and installation of these systems across multiple parts of the development, Gratalum contributes to the coordination of the building envelope and openings at The Ilisian, bringing together a range of solutions within a project of exceptional scale.
